Tuition is based on the number of semester credit hours taken and is paid at the time of registration each semester. Fees assessed include campus-based and distance (online) learning. The tuition and fee schedule for UM College of Technology differs from the tuition and fee schedule for The University of Montana. Tuition and fees are paid each semester. Student Tuition and Fees (Summer 2008)
Some courses include additional fees or require special supplies. Approximate total costs for all programs are included with program descriptions.
First-semester costs are typically higher than other semesters because students in many programs purchase supplies, tools, or materials that are used throughout the program and on the job. Directors of the various programs (e.g., Welding Technology, Diesel Technology, Culinary Arts) can provide lists of supplies, tools, and materials required for first-semester students.
