Admission Requirements

  1. Completion of all required core courses with a minimum of 2.75 GPA.
  2. Have a minimum of a B- in SCN201N and SCN202N.
  3. Healthcare exposure is preferred. If the applicant has none, it is required he/she "shadow" a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the workplace. Consult the Program Director for details.
  4. Submit all application materials to the administrative assistant in the Health & Business Building as the College of Technology.
  5. Students submit applications in spring semester for admittance to the program in autumn semester. Spring semester is typically when students are completing the core courses. If students will not complete core courses until the end of summer session, they should still apply in spring semester and request provisional acceptance contingent upon successful completion of core courses during the summer session
