The College of Technology is seeking dynamic, creative individuals to fill academic instructional positions in the following curricular areas for fall evening courses at Hamilton High School beginning January 22, 2008: Accounting, Communications, Computers, Medical Terminology, Psychology and Mathematics. ACC 132T Accounting 1 3 cr. CRN 35138 - Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Basic double-entry accounting. Emphasis on analyzing, journalizing, and posting transaction; trial balance, worksheet, financial
statements, and adjusting/closing procedures, accounting systems, and cash control.
COM 160A Oral Communications 3 cr. CRN 35143 - Tuesday and Thursday 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Introduction to oral communications skills including public speaking, and small group communication. Focus in on the organization,
delivery and retention of oral messages, listening skill development, and nonverbal communication. Credit not allowed for both COM 160A and COMM 11A.
CRT 111 Fluency in Information Technology 2 cr. CRN 35141 - Monday and Wednesday 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Prerequisite CRT 100 or demonstrated computer experience. Introduces the skills and concepts of information technology, both from
practical and a more theoretical point of view. During lectures and interactive computer labs, students will explore a wide range of digital
and information technologies, including common PC applications, networking, databases, privacy, and security. Credit not allowed for
both CRT 111 and CS 111.
MAT 100 Intermediate Algebra 3 cr. CRN 35144 - Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Prereq. MAT 005 or appropriate score on the COMPASS, ACT, or SAT placement test. Topics include linear equations and systems of
linear equations, inequalities applications and graphing, polynomials; rational expressions and equations; radicals, rational exponents
and complex numbers; quadratic equations; introduction to exponential and logarithmic functions. Credit not allowed for both:
MAT 100 and MATH 100.
MED 154T Beginning Medical Terminology 2 cr. CRN 35140 - Tuesday and Thursday 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Introduction to a medical word building system, using Greek and Latin word roots, combining forms, suffixes and prefixes.
PSY 100S Introduction to Psychology 4 cr. CRN 34145 Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Introduction to the scientific study of behavior in humans and other animals. Credit not allowed for both PSYC 100S and PSY 100S.
Application Requirements: Advanced degree in an appropriate discipline, teaching experience, other relevant work experience.

and able to demonstrate strong communication skills. Previous teaching experience preferred. Official college transcripts and
