Faculty - Diesel Technology

The College of Technology at The University of Montana – Missoula invites applications for a tenure track, academic year faculty member for the Diesel Technology program.

Will be responsible for development and teaching of assigned courses, shop and equipment organization and maintenance, student advising, assisting in placement and follow-up activities, and participation in faculty committees and activities.  Specific areas of assignment may include, but not be limited to hydraulics, diesel engine service, brakes, diesel fuel systems, and automatic/power shift transmission.

Requirements:  a Master’s degree; training in diesel equipment operation and maintenance with three to five year’s of related work experience.  Prior teaching experience required.  Experience and/or training in power generation a plus.
